Learn in this tutorial a simple way to make a coloured picture out of text.

For this tutorial i have used Photoshop CS3.
Firstly, open up your picture.

Next, open up notepad/wordpad and make a load of text in capitals. When done, select all the text and copy it.
When this is done, select your text tool and click on the picture and then right click and paste.
When putting the text on, make sure its a simple block font, nothing complex and then use ctrl+t to get it to a readable size at 100%. It also helps with some fonts to click on the text teb on the top right with the letter A and make the gap in between your letters to 200. If needs be, make more text layer copies to fill up your picture.

Duplicate your picture and place a black filled layer in between the two pictures. the text layer should be on top.
Select the magic wand tool with a tolenrance of 60 and on the text layer, click an empty spot. Then click on the top picture and press delete and then deselect.

Lastly set your mode on the text layer to soft light and there we have it, one picture made of text :)
